About the EuroMOMO Hub

The EuroMOMO Hub coordinates the European Mortality Monitoring Network and supports countries in collecting, analysing, and sharing standardised weekly mortality data. This ensures timely detection of changes in mortality trends across Europe. Our multidisciplinary team brings expertise in epidemiology, statistics, infectious disease surveillance, data science, public health, IT systems, and communication. Together with the participating countries, we develop and maintain the tools, methods, and guidance that enable high-quality and comparable mortality monitoring. The hub works closely with the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and other public health partners to strengthen Europe’s capacity to assess and respond to health threats.
